Oversized storage ottoman – The ottoman is the simplest, most direct piece of furniture in the modern home. Basically, just simple boxes, the various styles of ottoman are all attractive ways to support the feet of a recumbent person. Adding the storage element inside an ottoman gives this fully functional furniture for a dual purpose and increases its value at home. This ottoman solves the problem of convenient storage space for blankets, which can easily flap out for a spontaneous nap.
Arrange the four equal joints on their 2-foot sides to form a perfect square, with each goal board on one board, while another intrudes on the side of the board. Pre-drill four uniformly spaced holes in each joint, with the holes entering the outside of one joint and passing at the end of the other. Join the boards together with 2-inch wood screws.
Place one of the square tables on top of the ottoman assembly and pre-drill a hole in each corner of the square board, down in the center of each side plate. Attach the square board to the side boards using the 2-inch wood screws. Cover the outside of the ottoman with the fabric stretched tight, covering the inside, so if you like it. Staple the fabric in place on the bottom of the ottoman’s surface and then again inside it, in the storage area.
